Microsoft 365 Consulting & Licensing

The horizontal practice that serves all of Verasor's audiences. M365 implementation, configuration, and licensing for commercial organizations, government customers, and the Defense Industrial Base, built on Microsoft best practice and operational experience.

What it covers

The full Microsoft 365 lifecycle, done right the first time

Commercial organizations get a clean, secure M365 environment without enterprise overhead. Government customers get configuration grounded in the relevant regulatory baselines. DIB shops get a partner who can take them from commercial M365 to GCC High when the contract demands it.

Tenant strategy and architecture

Tenant model decisions (single vs multi-tenant, commercial vs GCC vs GCC High), domain planning, directory design, and the architectural calls that are expensive to change later.

Identity and access (Entra ID)

Identity provisioning, hybrid identity with on-premises Active Directory where relevant, group strategy, and the Entra configuration that everything else sits on.

Productivity workloads

Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the supporting Power Platform pieces. Configuration, migration, and adoption support so your team actually uses what you paid for.

Security posture baseline

Conditional Access, MFA, Defender for Office 365, and the M365 security baseline that should be in place from day one, whether or not you ever face a compliance regime.

Licensing procurement and optimization

License selection, procurement, and ongoing rightsizing. M365 Business Premium, E3, E5, GCC, GCC High, add-on SKUs, and the trade-offs between them. We pick the licenses that fit, not the most expensive bundle.

How an M365 engagement runs

1. Discovery call

A working conversation about your current environment, the outcomes you need, your regulatory exposure (if any), and your timeline. We confirm whether commercial M365, GCC, or GCC High is the right fit.

2. Tenant assessment and design

For new tenants, an architectural plan covering identity, licensing, and security baseline. For existing tenants, an assessment of the current configuration and a remediation plan.

3. Implementation or migration

Stand up new tenants, migrate from legacy environments (on-premises Exchange, Google Workspace, other M365 tenants), and configure the workloads. Pilot first, then production.

4. Operational handoff or ongoing operations

Hand the environment back to your team with documentation and runbooks, or stay on for ongoing operations under our M365 Security & Compliance Operations service.
